Welcome
About me
My background is in human anatomy and evolution. I’ve always had a fascination with how the body works and what makes us tick. I’m also a big believer in giving the body what it needs to heal itself, and the science behind the laser therapy proves it does just that – stimulating healing from the inside.
Marli’s story
My journey into complementary therapy began after my beloved rescue dog Marli developed spinal arthritis and IVDD at the age of 12. Desperate to help him with pain relief and regain a better quality of life, I began working with my own Chiropractor, who recommended cold laser therapy. The results for him throughout his treatment, have been incredible, helping him manage day to day, and putting a skip back in his step and obvious joy in his little face. I truly believe that without the laser treatment he wouldn’t still be with us.
I use cold laser therapy and thermal imaging in many ways, both can be part of a recovery programme for a recent injury or as help for managing a long term condition.
I’m always very happy to work alongside other therapists or veterinary professionals to help develop a plan to meet your pet’s needs.
Helping others
Having experienced what the laser can do first hand, I completed my professional training to become a qualified practitioner, and LumiRay was born. Since then I’ve been continuously training and expanding my knowledge in other areas - namely thermography and most recently equine and canine massage, so I can provide holistic and tailored packages of care.
Most people are amazed at just how many things it can treat, just because it’s not listed here, doesnt mean it won’t help, I’m always happy to take on a new challenge. Feel free to get in touch via the Contact page.
Thanks for visiting.
